The study has been released in the form of a comprehensive publication.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/ahdbackup.websify.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/heritage-thumb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3402\" src=\"https:\/\/ahdbackup.websify.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/heritage-thumb.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"219\" height=\"128\" \/><\/a><br \/><br \/>One of the integral parts of SoBHI is the Heritage at Risk Register (H@R). It is an ongoing database of endangered built heritage &#8211; bringing cases to light, in the hope of assistance. The register serves as a ready shelf of potential conservation initiatives, from which state and local authorities as well as private\/ corporate bodies can take up cases. It is suggested that from among these cases, strategic conservation initiatives are identified and that at least one demonstration case be implemented per state, with the involvement of the community, government bodies and\/ or the private sector, and INTACH can be a knowledge partner.<br \/><br \/><br \/>The purpose is also to solicit attention of policy-makers for establishing conservation priority. The list includes sample cases that are aimed at bringing awareness regarding the prevalent status and neglect of various typologies of unprotected built heritage.<br \/><br \/><br \/>On World Heritage Day, 18th April 2021, INTACH launched a year-long social media campaign to bring attention to the lesser known unprotected built heritage of India. An endangered historic site is highlighted each day from the Heritage at Risk Register. Assistance is sought from the public so that conservation can be facilitated, either by providing a connect with the local community\/ authorities, or by raising awareness campaigns leading to generating funds\/ help in kind. Collaborations are encouraged, to make a difference to save India&#8217;s built heritage.
